Professor Jacinta A. Opara, a leading environmental scholar, health science educator and development activist with the combined power of management and human rights is a Professor of Environmental Health, Ecology and Biodiversity in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Kampala International University, Kampala-Uganda. She received MSc and PhD Magna Cum Laude from Universidad Central de Nicaragua and did postgraduate studies at the Universidad de Granada, Granada-Spain and Akershus University, Lillestrom-Norway.
