Ballsbridge University College London (BUCL) is an independent Faculty and College of Ballsbridge University registered in 2017 in the United Kingdom. The aim of the college is to provide affordable online continuous education to working adults, executives and managers with some years of experience in management around the world.
The college offers Executive Diplomas, Executive Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialisations), Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA with specialisations) and Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA with specialisations) through online distance learning. The curriculum of all programmes of study have been approved by the Board of Quality Standards (BQS) under the authority vested on Ballsbridge university by the Dominica act 10 of 1996. BQS is an member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).The Ballsbridge University College London (BUCL) is not campus based, is not connected to any institution in London, and does not offer British degrees. BUCL is accredited by some awarding bodies in the UK in order to offer online Professional Diplomas (ATHE, UK). Postgraduate Professional Degree: EXECUTIVE MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (EMBA):(awarded by Ballsbridge University College London)- About the courseThe Executive Master of Business Administration at Ballsbridge University College London (BUCL) provides learners with 90 ECTS credits required to be awarded an EMBA degree. The course itself is made up of five (5) modules on each semester plus the Final Thesis. The first semester has five (5) core modules, and the second semester gives the option to students to select either the General specialisation or to choose any of the other 3 specialisation areas: Human Resources, Marketing or Accounting and Finance. Each module needs approximately 40 guided learning hours and includes a Webinar to support the learners. All modules have an additional 30-50 learning hours of optional materials that comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises. All students have access to 24/7 support, tutoring, and a variety of other support mechanisms including a supervisor in order to answer questions. Holders of Quallifi (UK) or Athe (UK) Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, are eligible to apply for the EMBA Top Up portion will usually consist of the final 30 ECTS credits of either, a 15000 dissertation, or a dissertation and one module. The first and a half year students need to complete all core modules, and in addition during the second year all students need to select either some extra General (16 ECTS) or to choose 16 ECTS from three (3) specialisation areas: Human Resources, Marketing or Accounting and Finance. Each core module needs approximately 40 guided learning hours and includes a Webinar to support the learners. All modules have an additional 30-50 learning hours of materials that comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises. Holders of any related Level 8 Diploma, are eligible to apply for an EDBA Top Up course.
